Safely Cook for Crowds Workshop
Join Penn State Extension for a workshop on safe food handling when preparing meals for large groups.
This session is designed for volunteers from organizations such as churches, fire companies, and community groups who serve food to the public. Learn how to reduce the risk of foodborne illness and plan safe, successful events.
Topics include preventing cross contamination, controlling time and temperature, maintaining proper hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing, and planning food service for large groups.
